BTS confirms collaboration with Ed Sheeran on forthcoming album, out today

BTS kicks off new era with EP, song with Halsey

Halsey's vocals capture "the giddiness of being in love, while the lyrics address the relationship the group has with its ARMY: 'I'm flying high in the sky with the two wings you gave me, ' with the wings referencing the title of their second album".

"Map of the Soul: Persona" hit major online music stores Friday evening (Korean time). Not only are they the first K-pop group, but the first artist in entire Asia to make the record.

The 7-track "Map of the Soul: Persona" comes 8 months after "Love Yourself: Answer", the final installment of BTS' three-part "Love Yourself" series.

This morning, BTS dropped the video for their new song "Boy With Luv", feat. This comes off the heels of their Boy With Luv music video release. In the case of Blackpink, the unofficial number of views prior to the adjustments made by YouTube was 49.9 million views.

BTS also talked about how they made it big in the USA, which they credited to their loyal and devoted ARMY.

"It colorfully expresses the feeling of thrill from love and has a easy-to-listen melody line", it said. Halsey also dances alongside RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook towards the end. The tracks have a clear message: "finding joy in love and reaching out to the world".

The band are set to perform on this week's episode of Saturday Night Live, where they'll accompany host Emma Stone.

"Map of the Soul: Persona" has maintained the best-seller spot in Amazon's CDs & Vinyl category for 30 straight days as of Thursday.
