Skype adds screen sharing on iOS and Android

Mobile screen-sharing might come to Skype soon

Through this mobile screens features Skype users can "swipes on dating apps", share PowerPoint presentations, also with online shopping with friends.

Skype has started testing the screen share feature on Android and iOS apps.

We all know that Skype is an application that is being specialized in providing video chats and voice calls between computers, tablets, mobile phones, the Xbox One console, and smartwatches via the Internet. With the latest Insider build, you can now share your screen on your Android or iOS device during a call. Microsoft which is more concentrating towards small businesses and consumers with this new feature catches up to more business motivated apps like Zoom, Cisco WebEx and GoTo Meeting.

Meanwhile, another feature that was recently upgraded from Skype Preview to the stable version allows up to 50 people participating in a video call at once.

While iOS apps are usually sandboxed, which usually prevents access to system functions such as the screen buffer, the app takes advantage of the iOS 11 live broadcasting API. And because it's baked into Skype, you don't need any special software or settings configurations to use it. It has been trained to detect your hair, hands, and arms, which enables you to make a call with background blur in a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. However, we could expect from Microsoft to bring this screen sharing feature in a couple of months for the public. Instead as said earlier, the latest Skype Preview has it, which is in case you don't know what Skype Preview is, let's elucidate.
