Trump Considers Daughter Ivanka To Lead World Bank

Ivanka Trump assistant to the president stands up as she is recognized by President Donald Trump at the 2019 Prison Reform Summit and First Step Act Celebration in the East Room of the White House in Washington

"CNN Tonight" anchor Don Lemon took some shots at top White House adviser and first daughter Ivanka Trump on Friday night, questioning if she had "any relevance" and asserting that she had no accomplishments of note. "I forgot you guys were meeting-I was just coming by!" she said.

Asked why he didn't nominate her, he said: "If I did, they'd say nepotism, when it would've had nothing to do with nepotism".

Stephanie Grisham, the spokeswoman for the first lady, told the magazine that Ivanka and Melania have "always shared a close relationship and still do today".

"She likes her fine, because she didn't cause me to break up the marriage like the other one - I don't even want to pronounce her name", Ivana told The Atlantic.

She was previously a businesswoman and NY socialite.

Melania Trump was slower to embrace her role as first lady, moving from New York City to the White House almost five months after her husband was inaugurated.

Ivanka Trump presumably has a lower impression of Maples than she does of Melania Trump, but The Atlantic story only offers a glimpse of her reaction to that coupling at a young age.

She has been involved in World Bank initiatives on the economic development of women.

Trump insisted that "it would've had nothing to do with nepotism" and Ivanka would have been "incredible" in the role.

Ivanka Trump apparently was less upset with her mother and father's divorce than she was for not having anticipated it. Spokesperson Jessica Ditto said that she has also worked closely with the leadership of the bank over the past two years, which is why she worked on the nomination.

Before joining the White House, she worked as a vice president for acquisitions at the Trump Organization.

For Donald Trump are such Details but, apparently, beside the point.
