Wife of popular Ghanaian star Chris Attoh shot dead in Maryland

Recall that we reported that Bettie Jennifer was shot dead on Friday around 5pm, and was pronounced dead when police arrived at the crime scene.

In the heat of this, Jennifer Bettie was shot when she was about leaving office for home.

Details surrounding her death say when Bettie left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking to her vehicle when a man armed with a handgun approached her.

Jenifer ran across the parking lot, with the suspect following behind her and firing multiple shots, police say. They said he was described a thin black male wearing a dark shirt and dark trousers.

She is said to have worked at a temporary staffing agency located in 6300 block, Ivy Lane.

Jennifer got married to Chris Attoh in October a year ago and she was 44. Jenifer married Attoh in 2018 following his divorce from Damilola Adegbite. He was wearing dark clothing and may have been in a blue auto.

Chris flew from Los Angeles where he was shooting a movie to Maryland where his wife was killed yesterday after he heard the news.

Chris Attoh and Bettie Jenifer were only married for seven months.

Attoh has a son, Brian, with his previous wife. They said she had been shot in the head.

"She attended Walden University for her Business Administration and Management studies while grabbing her Bachelors (Applied Science - BASc) at the Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania".
