Motorola One Vision ready with 48MP rear, 25MP selfie shooter

Parts of Europe will get the Motorola One Vision starting tomorrow at a price of €299, and it'll come to the United Kingdom for £269 at the end of the month. This new smartphone has been in the making for quite a while now and could see a wider launch in the next few weeks.

Coming to the camera department, the phone comes equipped with a massive 48MP primary sensor at the back with f / 1.7 aperture and OIS. The Motorola One Vision is also the first Motorola smartphone to use a cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio screen, which is slightly taller than the typical smartphones with 16:9 or 18:9 or 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The latest Motorola phone comes with features like punch-hole design with a new 21:9 aspect ratio display, a new Exynos 9609 processor and 48-megapixel rear camera.

The Motorola One Vision was launched this week with a set of specifications that appear - at surface level - to closely follow those of the headline smartphones this season. Some are straightforward enough; the AI shot optimization feature looks at what's in front of the camera and suggests that you use Portrait mode if it sees a face, or the new Night Vision mode when it's dark out.

Unlike the Sony phones which had thick bezels on the top and bottom, the Motorola One Vision boasts of a punch-hole screen which reduces the overall footprint of the phone. The only disappointment is that it's only available in two variants; Sapphire or Bronze, aka Blue or Brown. Sensors on board include fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, compass, and magnetometer. The size of the panel is 6.3 inches with a resolution of FHD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) and a pixel density of 432 PPI.

The One Vision employs optical image stabilization to help with blurry photos and videos.

The Motorola One Vision is powered by a 3,500mAh battery with 15W TurboPower fast charge support.

The phone will be available in Mid-May in Europe with a price tag of €299 (~$335).

There is 4GB RAM & 128GB storage, with the option to expand the storage up to 512GB via micro SD card.

Instead, you can grab it in Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and Mexico. It will later be available in selected other countries in Asia, the Middle East and Australia.
