Skull & Bones Delayed and Won’t Be at E3

Ubisoft Delays Skull & Bones to April 2020

It also announced it has three triple-A games set to released during Q4 of its current fiscal year. It has now been delayed again to "after 2019/20". And with the company indefinitely delaying the game's release - it no longer has a release window - it seems nearly certain that we'll see a very different Skull & Bones when it next appears. Ubisoft's pirate game - cast in a similar mould to the naval combat from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - has been delayed once again, having been pushed back previous year.

Ubisoft has announced that Skull & Bones will be delayed to after March 2020 and that four AAA games, including Ghost Recon Breakpoint, will be unveiled and released by the end of March 2020.

If you were holding out for Ubisoft Singapore's grand pirate adventure, Skull & Bones, don't get your hopes up. "We believe in our vision for the game, while also making sure the voice of our community is being heard", Ubisoft tweeted.

The good news is that there will be four new AAA games released before the end of fiscal year 2020, which is the end of March 2020.

Skull & Bones will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

A new Watch Dogs game is heavily rumoured for an E3 appearance, as is a return to the Splinter Cell franchise. One of the biggest drivers of this was the release of Tom Clancy's The Division 2. More information at E3 and gamescom this year seems likely.
