Kylie Jenner & Kanye West Ride High in Forbes’ 2019 List of Highest Earning Entertainers

Akshay Kumar, who is giving his phenomenal contribution to the world of cinema, stands as the only Indian celebrity to attain a place in the on Forbes' Highest-Paid Entertainers' list.

Not only did Taylor Swift top the list, but she also beat out Kylie Jenner and Kanye West, who came in No. 2 and 3 respectively. Talk about power couples. The mag says her estimated pay increased an insane 131% from the year before, when she made a paltry $80 mil.

After a four year hiatus, West returned to the list with Forbes' accounting his pre-tax earnings to be at $150 million, the major contribution was made by his popular Yeezy sneakers line, helping him secure the third place. The figures take into account the income from her Reputation album, Netflix's streaming of the tour and her new deal with Republic Records. Earlier this year Jenner was declared by Forbes as the world's youngest billionaire.

Singer Taylor Swift should feel happy now, after she lashed out recently over not being able to own the masters of her previous recordings.

Forbes has revealed the 100 highest-paid celebrities for 2019, featuring some of the biggest names in music, sport, film and television. He will also be making his grand digital debut with Amazon Prime's The End, for which he has been reportedly paid a huge sum of Rs 90 crores. Whereas, his wife Kim Kardashian booked the 26th spot.

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran also joined the top 5 standing at the fifth position with Dollars 110 million.

The annual Forbes Celebrity 100 list is known to include celebrities from all different spheres and this time too it saw soccer stars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar among the top 10.
