Hrithik’s ‘Super 30’ mints over Rs 11 crore on opening day

Super 30 box office collection Day 1 Hrithik Roshan took a year to get into the shoes of mathematician Anand Kumar

The movie is based on the life and struggles of famous mathematician Anand Kumar. Super 30's box office collection on Day 1 was decent to say the least. His latest film Super 30, that released yesterday, opened well at the box office with Rs 11.83 crore and the film is eighth highest opener of 2019. And as the word of mouth is spreading the movie's second-day collections have seen huge growth. The movie witnessed a rise of around 30 percent in its occupancy, registering an excellent collection at the Indian box office on Saturday. The early estimates state that Super 30 is likely to have made around Rs 18 crore on Day 2, taking the collection to at least Rs 29 crore.

On the box office Super 30 is competing with Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh which is going really strong, Ayushmann Khurrana's Article 15 and Hollywood film Spider-Man: Far From Home.

However, Super 30 will need to do exceptional business on its week days to be a success.

Well, Hrithik Roshan has a lot of exposure from this film because he worked hard for this film. People also appreciated the Hrithik Roshan acting and they said it was very good.

Pinkvilla in its Super 30 movie review gave it three stars out of five and mentioned that the film is a story of triumph that is well-narrated but bucks down a bit for entertaining the audience with a tint of avoidable Bollywood drama.

The Vikas Bahl's directorial also stars Mrunal Thakur, Aditya Shrivastava and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
