Terrence Howard Says He's 'Done' Acting Once 'Empire' Ends

Terrence Howard

The sixth season of Empire premieres Tuesday, September 24 at 9 p.m ET on FOX.

Terrence Howard "DONE" with his acting.

Asked what he intends to do when the show ends, he told Extra: "I'm done with acting. I'm done pretending." Asked if he'd like to focus on philanthropy or something else instead of acting, the longtime actor said: "No, not philanthropy; I'm just focusing on bringing the truth to the world".

So what will the actor, known for starring in some of Black Hollywood's most iconic films, miss most about Empire?

Of saying goodbye to Empire, he added: "I love the cast members".

Howard's announcement comes just a few months after he was reportedly being investigated for criminal tax evasion. However, the spokesperson of the US State Attorney's Office said that their officers could neither deny nor confirm any investigation being done on Terrence.

The federal government are reportedly looking into possible financial crimes committed by Terrence, Mira Pak - who he divorced in 2015 but got engaged to again in December 2018 - and her company Universal Bridges Inc.

Howard was reportedly hit with $143,538.61 tax lien by the State of California Franchise Tax Board in April, for taxes he allegedly owes from 2010.

Apart from this, he meanwhile had vowed that he would never turn his back to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after playing the role of James Rhodes in the first Iron Man series.
